Spammer(s) are still using my domain name (CaptSF.com) to send their spam, & if that is why you are here, I apologize, but there is nothing I can do!. These people are so pathetically bitter, they've added "captsf" to their meta tags so you wouldn't read this paragraph! I hope that soon, SMTP is scrapped, and replaced w/ a format in which people can not put other people's (or fake) e-mail addresses in the "from" or "reply-to" fields. Contact your Senator & Representative & insist this loophole not destroy the internet for legitimate individuals & businesses on the internet!
The only people who need anonymous e-mail addresses are people who have something to hide!

it really been more than a year since I last posted? I apologize to

I wish that anyone who smokes cigarettes could actually see what will become of them. It boggles my mind that anyone , now knowing what cigarettes do, still smokes. I watched my Dad decline over 20 years, getting out of the house less often every year, and in the last 5 years, using an electric wheelchair to get from just the living room to the bathroom, taking anti-anxiety meds every time he felt like he was suffocating, vacuuming phlegm out of his throat, developing diabetes, depending on others to do everything for him, and in the end, using diapers because he didn't have the strength to make it from the recliner to the wheelchair to get to the bathroom. If you don't have the sense to stop smoking for your own benefit, think of the pain & suffering you will inflict on your friends & family as they watch you slowly, painfully waste away, then die!
I'm watching President-elect Obama speaking at Grant Park in Chicago (I miss Chicago), after watching John McCain's poetic & inspirational concession speech. I also watched Jesse Jackson's tears of joy, & can only imagine the great joy & pride he & all the African-Americans who have struggled for equality now feel, and the bittersweet memories of what had to happen before he could come to such a moment. I can remember my mother asking me to lock my car door every time she saw a Black person on the corner of the intersection she was paused at. I, on the other hand was raised during the sixties & personally witnessed on TV a few of the horrible events & the sacrifices made by a fiercely proud & downtrodden Americans to fight for the rights that were supposedly granted them by the Constitution. These glimpses made an impression on me and led me to see how unfair & unnecessary discrimination is. I hope that this will be the deciding moment, healing the racial rift that America still struggles with. I hope that Obama will have the chance to help us regain our country from the grasp of the greedy & avaricious few, who as long as I remember, have not paid their fair share of taxes, and who have spirited our jobs (and machinery, and youth) to foreign lands. I pray that he will not be taken from us, as John F. Kennedy was, before he can accomplish what needs to be done.
I'll try to get THIS years Folsom & Dore Alley Fair pix posted here in the next month, but am still trying to get MY life together, after so many years of sacrificing my life for Dad, my clients, & the uniform club.
09/30/2007 Just got back from Folsom Street Fair. Had a great time, got lots of pix for you, got to mack & whack one of SF's hottest nudists, and will probably masturbate to those pix shortly. I also posted pix from last Sunday's LeatherWalk & Bare Chest Calendar Men's Date Auction. . .
09/20/2007 Leather week is almost here! Even if I hadn't know that fact, I'd have guessed it by the increasing numbers of pseudo-butch circuit queens showing up at the gym to work out their upper bodies (personally, if I see a guy whose forearms are thicker than his calves, it's obvious he's a "ShowGirl," and thus automatically disqualified). One of the biggest reasons I'm still single (aside from not having time for dating), is that SF is now mostly populated with morally & spiritually bankrupt, inconsiderate lemmings obsessed with how other people perceive them: expensive cars, grossly oversized trucks (i.e. Hummers - thank God I was born with sufficient penis), personal trainers, iPods, iPhones, and almost every conversation I hear at the gym involves money, whether it be where they went last weekend, real estate shopping, refi, what label they're wearing today. or how much they're spending on their latest remodel, etc., etc., etc.. Gold's (SF) is definitely the shallow end of the pool. On that note. . .
. . .personally, I m over the tacit (or explicit) approval of steroid use, especially here in San Francisco, original home of Gym G.O.D.S. (Gays On Disability & Steroids)! Marc Ecko, auction winner of Barry Bond's Home Ball #756 is letting the public determine it's fate: 1. Donate it to the Hall of Fame; 2. Donate it, but brand an asterisk on it; 3. Blast it into space. Wanna vote?
(voting ends 20:00 09/25/2007) addendum: it will be donated w/ an asterisk branded on it.
09/13/2007 I wandered into my own photo section, realized there were no new pix posted in a couple years, so I posted a bunch. I started doing some captions, got tired, will continue later. . .
08/29/2007 SF heat wave! Already 77 in my bedroom/office. For now, just sitting naked w/ a fan pointed at my crotch, will probably roll out & fire up the A/C unit (I can't sleep if too warm).
My cellulitis was caused by a multi-drug resistant strain of staph, and could only be vanquished using a new exotic anti-biotic that cost 83$/each, meaning a 2 week treatment cost over $2300! Someone needs to do something about obscene health-care costs, hopefully BEFORE the baby-boomers start needing more medical care! I seem to be on the mend, although there is much residual pain from the tissue that was damaged.
08/02/2007 I just added my pix from Dore Alley 2007 ! Also just got out of Davies Hospital, were I was kept merely to treat my cellulitis . I finally talked them into an outpatient therapy, & I'm now administering my own Vancomycin @ home, using a most ingenious delivery system: instead of a drip, from a bag, suspended from the ceiling; the drugs are forced into a rubber balloon, which I hook up to my temporary Groshong picc line, and it is the elasticity of the balloon that pressurizes the contents & forces liquid into port. . .
07/15/2007 I finally made it to one of the Crucible's Fire Arts Festival in Oakland this weekend. Mechanics, robotics, fire, & boundless creativity combined!
It was a cross between Cirque du Soleil (@ 1/3 the price) & Burning Man (Without the heat, dust, scorpions or pseudo-bohemian yuppies on ecstasy)
07/03/2007 Coolest, gayest internet finding this week: Ukrainian (who'd guess they had a sense of humor) Drag Queen (Verka Serduchka) won 2nd place in the EuroVision Song Contest. (PS: YouTube has a habit of progressively compressing video dependent on it's increasing popularity, such that these videos are almost unviewable now)
I dare you NOT to tap your feet! If Reagan knew this would happen, he'd had said "President Gorbachev: leave the wall up, & make it taller!" There's a better/more humorous video on "her" web site, but the vocals are weak. Can we look forward to a whole spate of dance songs featuring the accordion? There are a bunch of "her" very kitschy, satirical videos on yoUtube, as well. . .
I'm finally recovering from the Phoenix Uniform & Leather Ball, which was a big hit, thanks to switching to finger foods from a buffet dinner, something I've been fought for, for 5 years! Now if we get more than 2 people to help set the whole thing up! I'm slowly getting back to my personal life, which has suffered. I even got laid Saturday before last! I'm ashamed to even mention how long it'd been. . .
Here's one of my favorite PHX Ball memories, our own Mr. SF Leather Travis (far right), talking to Scotty (mmmm, pale creamy white goodness, from Canberra, Australia):
(Does this induce twisted masturbatory 3-way fantasies for you , or am I just a freak?)
Shortly, I'll be riding out to buy fireworks in Pacifica, the closest place to legally buy them, as SF has outlawed them altogether. I will, of course, drive back to Pacifica on the 4th to set them off, of course, really officer! It's a shame that the rest of us have to suffer because a few morons didn't know what they were doing, were probably drunk, and that some weasel of a lawyer got hold of them. Darwin was right! Now, not only do we protect morons, but reward them! If you put a hot cup of coffee on your vagina & drive away, you should get burne, NOT receive $3000,000.00 !!! What we need in Congress/Senate are fewer lawyers & more business owners! I also believe that if we keep protecting morons, instead of letting them kill themselves, we'll only dilute the gene pool. Don't want to wear a seatbelt or helmet? Go for it, babe!
06/08/2007 Just bought a piece of Acrylic that was injected w/ 2 Million Volts via a particle accelerator, known as a Lichtenberg Figure, it's as purty as a fresh Midwestern Snowflake:
O5/26/2007 Off to the gym, having wasted an morning researching Japanese "nightingale floors" & "makyoh" (magic mirrors), & having discovered an amazing web site, chock-full of geek toys: Grand Illusions
05/21/2007 Added Picture Gallery from last weekend's trip to Yosemite
05/17/2007 Added Picture Galleries from Dore Alley 2004 AND Dore Alley 2005!
05/15/2007 Jerry Falwell is dead! I hope that all the misery & pain he caused while living is visited upon him in the afterlife! That's me, above, dancing on his grave! Click here for more pix of me & others, dancing & celebrating! Unfortunately, I had to explain to many people who he was & what he did, which worries me, as those who do not remember/know history are doomed to repeat it! On a lighter note, we can now rest easy, knowing these are NOT the end days, as the antichrist died yesterday. . .
05/08/2007 The coolest thing & the scariest things I've seen on the internet this month!
05/05/2007 What a beautiful day! I'm Off to visit "Mom" (Dad's lover, Dean) & Dad in "Nevada" (Pleasanton), then Gold's for some cardio, then back to work on Phoenix Uniform & Leather Ball tix, posters, etc. If the weather is like this where YOU are, get your ass up off that chair, turn off that computer, & enjoy it! "Life is nasty, brutish, & short" (a quote I remember from a MSU Economics course).
Elsewheres in the news: I just finished a dug dosing study, and am about to start a new regimen, hoping to kill off a bunch o' the nasties. . .
04/16/2007 Loaded some pix of Alden Spafford Memorial ride (photo above is us waving farewell to Alden). Working on Phoenix Uniform Ball advertising, finishing tax stuff, & getting ready for a Maturation Inhibitor dosing study I'll be in for the next 2 weeks, leaving me little time for anything else, not even sleep. . .
03/09/2007 Finally loaded some new pix today (Folsom Street Fair 2006), hope to keep adding. Check out this great comedy clip on outsourcing! Pretty soon there'll be no jobs left here, the richest Republicans will move to Europe, and the US will be a 4th World country!
03/03/2007 Last weekend was NOT a good one! Saturday, one of my riding/Beer Bust Buddies, Alden Spafford (far left), was killed on I5, when an 18-wheeler hit him while merging back from the shoulder. Alden was a kind, gentle man, liked by everyone. He was also a prolific biker, easily doing 40K miles/year on his beloved Harley. He was a highly skilled rider, but prone to risky behavior. At least he died doing what he loved most. I'll miss him at the Eagle's Beer Busts & he was the only person I knew who could consistently take pictures of me without my eyes shut or some stupid look on my face! Check out his web site, which is a collection of pix from his many motorcycling runs/adventures & SF leather events.
The next night, my rainy day VW's alternator failed on 880 (very busy Freeway), on a section with no shoulder, where it was destroyed by some woman I'm sure was on her cell phone & not paying attention! I had the presence of mind to get out & hop over the concrete barrier the second it quit running, so I was not in the VW when it was compacted. My claims adjuster seems to think we'll get the value of my car from her (I was carrying liability only, as the VW was 33 years old) & I think a mini-pickup will be next, probably a Ford Ranger. . .
02/2005/2007 The Queen Mary 2 stopped in SF on it's inaugural "Around the World in 80 Days" tour, check out the pix: Click Here Otherwise, I've been busy helping "Mom" & Dad move to Pleasanton (which seems like Nevada to me, but it's still in CA)
01/20/2007 I thought I'd seen it all, until I saw this device at my friend's porn studio: DildoPogo.avi ! I've been busy, trying to clean up my apartment, putting stuff on eBay: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZcaptsf
01/17/2007 Sorry you haven't heard from me, but I've been busy trying to clean out my apartment, which looks more like a storage locker, due to years of putting other people's needs (my Dad, the Uniform Club, Client's) before my own.
I've just put up some uniforms up for auction on eBay, along with the 1st Leather Pride Flag to fly over the Eagle Bar (for 15 years) here in SF. Check it out:
http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZcaptsf
01/01/2007 HAPPY NEW YEAR!
11/20/2006 I've been sidetracked by web issues the last couple weeks: migrating my web sites to GoDaddy.com (which took 2 months, due to Earthlink's holding domain names hostage), and surviving the results of spammers sending millions of spam e-mails for sugar pills which resulted in MY mail account being deluged with bounceback & error e-mails from accounts astute enough to use spam control programs. Hope to get back to improving my websites. For all of you interested in the Phoenix Uniform Club's activities, the site has been moved to: PHXSF.org .
11/08/2006 San Francisco's District 8 lemmings have re-elected Bevan Dufty Supervisor, despite his part in Halloween & inactivity in any issues that don't include a photo op! Supervisor Daly's distribution of cigarettes for votes (always a sure way to win elections in the Tenderloin, if someone wants to beat him, they'll need to distribute crystal meth ;-) ) Gay leaders must also now admit that pushing for "gay marriage" was not the way to go! 27 States now have CONSTITUTIONAL prohibitions against gay marriage. We should have pushed for civil union rights & a shift towards getting government out of the "marriage" business. Marriage is a religious ceremony. There are plenty of forward thinking churches that will marry Gays, but the majority of heterosexuals are not ready for us to use that word! At least the Democrats have won a majority in the House & can rein in Bush! Woo Hoo!
11/01/2006 9 People were shot Halloween night in the Castro! Most of us homos know better than to go done there on Halloween at this point, as it's 99.99% drunk heterosexuals gawking at the 0.001% actually in costume. Throw in some gang-bangers, and rednecks w/ baseball bats specifically looking to crush a few fag skulls, and you've a guaranteed recipe for disaster! See this page for more: click here.
09/18/2006 I finally changed my websites over to GoDaddy.com and am saving a bundle, PLUS I don't have to deal w/ guys whose names are supposedly "Chip," or "Mark," but speak with a decidedly Indian accent who have no idea what their talking about, especially if it's not in their script book!
Yesterday kicked off San Francisco's Leather Week & as soon as I can batch process the pix, I'll post my Leather Walk & SOMA Bare Chest Calendar guy auction experience!
Testing the "2° of Separation" theory, I'm sending a picture of a hot redhead I saw yesterday (09/18/2006) to all my friends, asking them to send same e-mail to their friends, & so on, to see how many layers of e-mail I have to go through to ask him for a date ;-)
08/13/2006 Sorry guys, but I did NOT attend the Dore Alley Fair & associated festivities, mostly due to a nasty ulcer on my ankle that preclude the wearing of boots, & w/o boots, what's the point ,really? I'm also kinda burned out on the whole "poseurs in shiny new leather" scene, as well, but hopefully I'll soon get over that, so y'all can see the pix!
07/29/2006 Another Circuit Party weekend is upon us (Dore Alley Fair) & sure as Punxsutawney Phil seeing his shadow, San Francisco's pseudo-butch, played out circuit-party poseurs are crowding Gold's Gym, in a vain attempt (double entendre intended) to get back in shape in one week. I'll go down early, try to get some pix before all the city's gawkers make movement impossible. I'll try to get the pix up next week for all of you who can't make it to SF for the festivities.
06/10/2006 All of us have seen poseurs in some form of law enforcement T-shirts who would never pass the physical, let alone psychological testing imposed by academies, and a slightly small number of us have seen boys w/ scrawny little legs who could hardly run the length of a Lacrosse field ONCE wearing some Lacrosse team's T-shirt, but today I saw the ULTIMATE POSEUR T-SHIRT: an NYPD Lacrosse T on one of our local played-out circuit queens with scrawny little bird legs (you can always tell the Gay guys at the gym, their forearms are always bigger than their calves, God forbid they work their legs or do cardio) and I almost burst out laughing. . .
5/20/2006 I decided to opt out of the GGG Yosemite Run, partially because it will probably rain all weekend, partially so I could catch up on the work I missed while figuring out my insurance woes and computer problems (lesson learned: if your computer stops recognizing ALL your USB peripherals, it's most likely a faulty Power Supply). I'll try to keep the cam going, but have to sacrifice it from time to time, as it hogs a great deal of memory. . .
05/13/2006 Just back from riding my Warrior to & from Palm Springs. Stuck to back roads & small highways and I'm not in the mood to do any more riding for awhile, as I rode 600 miles/day! I've finally figured out ThumbsPlus Batch processing of pix, & used their WebWizard, so, all the pix (no editing) can be seen by clicking on my pic above! Met some nice guys down there, so I guess I'll remain Gay awhile longer (although the ones I meet in SF lately (especially the ones @ Gold's) may yet drive me to the "Dark Side" (heterosexuality). . .
04/08/2006 Updated my stats page today, hope to get to the pix section after tax season, and add a section which will illuminate my positions on a variety of subjects, mainly what I'm looking for (& DON'T want in my next boyfriend); life in SF & why it's both the best AND worst place to be gay. I've been checking out the web stats & know people are visiting this site, but have yet to here from anyone as to what they like, dislike, or want to see, so I'll just keep rambling along. MY vision is a place for prospects to learn more about me, and a place for the world to see pix of the SF Bay area & it's residents. . .
04/07/2006 If you've found your way here from M4M4boredom, I apologize, but I've not had much time to update this site lately, but soon the time I wasted there can be used here. I just got tired of bad sex w/ other people's husband's, and the attitude, and dull lifeless, &/or tweaked-out losers, and the times I tried to connect, but ended up frustrated and dejected. Sun continues until afternoon, so I'm off to ride a bit before working from home this afternoon. . .
04/01/2006 Getting ready to head to the gym (Gold's Brannan St) to hang out w/ the played-out pseudo-butch circuit queens and the G.O.D.S. (Gays On Disability & Steroids). Hopefully I'll resist the temptation to go straight!?!?!? ;-)
It rained 25 out of 31 days in March & it's only partly cloudy today, so I think I'll drag out the motorcycle and tool around a bit, too.
3/2005/2006 Getting ready for a Phoenix Meeting, more rain on the way. I'll soon have more time to update this sight and write more interesting paragraphs, as I'm leaving one of my client's at the end of next week.
02/12/2006 We've had nearly a week of sunny warm weather, & I've been able to use the motorcycle daily for getting around & doing errands! Saturday the B& B had a pleasant Chinese New Year's gathering in Alameda and that was a nice ride, too. Today I'll work on the VW (the interior REEKS of gasoline), help out @ Stompers, and other errands I couldn't get to during the week. Not terribly exciting, but much of life isn't, eh? Perhaps I'll have time to do the Eagle Beer Bust :-)
01/22/2006 A sunny day! I'll be out enjoying it, washing the bike, going to a friend's housewarming, Beer Bust. It's been a very wet Winter here, so we know enough to enjoy the dry sunny days when they come! Thank God I'm not in Seattle this Winter, I hear they haven't seen sun in 2 months.
2/15/2006 Working on Xmas cards & some accounting projects from home today, then helping a friend convert from dial-up to DSL this eve. Mood improved, thanks to a couple sunny days. I was beginning to think I was trapped back in Portland (Orygun) again! Yikes!!!
12/11/2005 Yea! the Phoenix Uniform Club Holiday Party is now behind us & I can work on my own holiday stuff, like Xmas cards. I'll try to keep the cam running while I work!
12/01/2005 The rainy season has officially begun! After a visit to the gym, I'll try to run the cam this afternoon while I work from home. . .
11/13/2005 Finally, some sunny weather! I'll be working on the VW today, then off to the Beer Bust. I've posted on some sex websites but am sure that, as usual, nothing will come of it. "Why?" you might ask? Because I'm convinced that most of the decent, fun guys my age in San Francisco are either: 1. Dead. 2. Already paired off. 3. Chasing 20-year-olds 4. Spending their whole weekend at the gym, hopped up on steroids &/or crystal, so they can chase 20-year-olds. Don't worry, I know how cynical that sounds, but that's where I am today. But wait! There's more! Sometimes I think SF is nothing more than a real-life version of Peter Pan's Island of Lost Boys, in Never-Never Land, filled w/ gay males who've never grown up & don't care to; other times I wonder if they're even less: mindless automatons, Aberzombie Bitches who couldn't dress themselves w/o guidance from the latest gay rags on what to wear, what car to drive, what electronic devices to carry, what to listen to, what to watch, etc, etc, etc. Perhaps I should just start piling up newspapers in my apartment now, and run down to the shelter & adopt 30 cats, in preparation for the spinsterhood that awaits me. . .
I could be wrong in thinking that something in the drinking water here in SF turns them that way (I filter mine). Perhaps this syndrome has occurred in EVERY major US city, thanks to the self-centered, money-grubbing mentality ingrained into the generation raised during the catastrophe that was the Reagan years? Your opinions?
Not to worry, some fresh air, some beer, & the company of friends will vastly improve my mood, guaranteed! ;-)
11/2006/2005 Today's my birthday, but it's cold, damp, and overcast today, so I've decided to stay in and get some work done (yawn)! I'm going to put some stuff on my "yard sale" page so I can clear out my living room, as most of my friends are now afraid to come over. Biggest item is a nice, heavy oak coffee table (@ 42" square, it's too big for this living room), and a couple NEC 17" Syncmaster E700 CRT Monitors, a SCSI scanner, a bunch of cordless phones, and God knows what's under them. . .
10/16/2005 I'll be home, working on my last two tax returns today, and will try to keep the webcam running (as long as I have enough memory to do my work), after the tax returns, I should be able to do more motorcycling and be more entertaining. . .
10/13/2005 Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, but I had another hard disk crash and had to build a new computer! I'll try to update at least weekly in the future, and keep the webcam on whenever possible. . .
05/20/2005 Just got back from Palm Springs a few days ago, had a great time! I'll post some pix of me, the celebrity homes tour & and my friend's vacation rentals (3) there, as soon as I return from Yosemite (leave in an hour)! Here's where I stayed while there (thanks, Jerry!): www.la-casa-del-sol.com
05/07/2005 Replaced the clutch lever, gearshift lever on my Warrior this week and finally took it out for a spin. Looks like I'll have to have some suspension work done, tho, before I can get on the highway. Shoulder still a little sore, but recovering nicely. I went out to Boot Night @ the Eagle last night, but it was poorly attended, leaving me to wonder where all the hot guys in leather have disappeared to? Any suggestions?
04/20/2005 Recently had a nasty motorcycle accident: went into a turn too aggressively (it was pouring) and hit either a manhole cover or Muni tracks. Did some major damage to the bike's gas tank (see here), some external controls ; broke my left collarbone, and thanks to a novelty helmet, needed some stitches on my scalp. For those of you who ride without gloves on warm days, check out the glove pix from the accident , and reconsider your habit: (click here). Upside: I'm getting a lot of paperwork done, along w/ my client's 2004 taxes. . . Hope to be riding again by EOM, as our NoCal decent weather is just beginning!
03/22/2005 I just added some info on our (my riding buddies & I) Ad Hoc Motorcycle Group, so if you're gay, live in the Bay Area (or plan to visit here on your bike), and want to ride with us, send an e-mail to the address listed on link at left ("Our Philosophy/Join"). No Pix yet, I need to get a smaller cam I can slip in my jacket.
03/19/2005 Rain again this weekend! At least we got to ride to Bodega Bay LAST weekend! It was cold, but the company was good (8 of us) and the scenery stunning. I hope to work on the site today, especially getting some of the stuff cluttering my living room on Craig's List so I can sell it and paint. . .
03/03/2005 Will this rain EVER stop? Hopefully our "Ad Hoc" motorcycle group can ride down to Alice's on Saturday. If you're gay, like to ride , and would like to join us some time, let me know!?! We're into relaxing and driving at a reasonable rate of speed (if you want to prove your skills, we wouldn't be your cup of tea), stopping to eat, and we NEVER ride on rainy days. I hate being cold & wet, and it's bad enough having to ride to work in the rain, w/o doing it on my days off. . .
02/18/2005 Just relaxing after a hard week at work, hope to work on my "yard sale" section, as I just retired a HP LaserJet 6P. I'm hoping it rains all weekend, so I get some stuff done around the house and finish installing my heated handgrips.
02/13/2005 Has it been that long? I've been busy adding accessories to my new bike (click here 2 see).
Went to Las Vegas last weekend, saw "O" and had some good meals. I'm convinced, however, that EVERY gay man in LV smokes. Guess they don't bother reading the labels on the side, eh?
I'm also taking a "Gay Dating Makeover" class @ our LGBT center. I love sex as much as the next man, but am tired of "just" sex, and especially sex w/ everyone else's husband's (monogamy is NOT popular here)!
My New Year's resolutions are entirely based on the following quote: "Insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly, expecting different results."
More later. . .
01/02/2005 Happy New Year! It's been a busy holiday season! I just signed papers for my new bike, a 2005 Yamaha Warrior! Here's a pic from the Motorcycle show a few months back:
I hope you all had a great holiday season and aren't too hung-over today!
New Year's resolutions: 1. Finish organizing & decorating my apartment. 2. Put my needs ahead of the Club's & my client's for a change. 3. Develop a social life (see #1) 4. Get laid more than once a year.
12/12/2004 Sorry I've not been here in awhile, but I had to organize the Phoenix Uniform Club's Holiday Party and try to figure out how to put it on w/ only 2 other people's help. Drama ensued, but it came off nicely, albeit poorly attended. Next is Xmas cards.
I'm a little less cynical today than the mood that spawned the prior entry, so I've tried some new routes for meeting people, incl. Craig's List; after the holidays I'll take some new pix and try Yahoo, PozPersonals and Gaydar. . .
11/28/2004 Hope you all survived Thanksgiving w/o killing your families or gaining 10#! I had a relaxing one w/ my "Mom" (my Dad's lover, Dean) & Dad. We defied tradition and had beef roast, the watched Spike Channel's "Bondathon."
It's sunny today, so I guess I'll wash the bike (long overdue) and go to the Beer Bust. I wasted the morning cruising some local sex sites, looking for some "companionship," but it was littered with the same old skanky ho's who are on there 24/7 (do any of them have jobs?!?!?) and the Abercrombie Bitches, who have convinced themselves that anyone over 40 can't be good sex (little do they know).
Obviously, I'm more than a little burned out on the SF gay scene and yearn for someplace where I'm not constantly surrounded by deluded poseurs: guys in Carhartt pants who wouldn't know a hammer from a wrench; others in Harley T-shirts, who've never been on a motorcycle, let alone a Harley; or the Gym G.O.D.S. (Gays On Disability and Steroids). If I see another silly queen with a shaved head, with a goatee (or some other silly facial hair that requires a half hour maintenance each morn), walking & talking like a girl, I'll probably implode! (just kidding, I'll keep plodding along). I'm sure there is an ordinary guy someplace, around my age, who isn't already married, and finds me attractive, but the odds just don't look good. Hopefully, a little fresh air and riding will improve my attitude!?!?!?!?
11/14/2004 It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood! Just finishing my coffee, then will go over & fix Dad some breakfast, wash the bike, and head to the Beer Bust!
11/11/2004 Happy Veteran's Day! Just relaxing tonight. Finally got VW running "smoothly" (doesn't stall every time I stop now), and that's my victory for today. . .
11/07/2004 Day after my birthday. Uneventful, but that's the way I like it. Today, I'm just relaxing before visiting Dad and heading down for the Beer Bust.
10/23/2004 Another rainy day. I'm trying to gather enough ambition to head off to the gym for cardio, but the coffee and the comfy chair make that difficult. Afterwards, I'll be working on web sites, both mine and the Mr SF Leather sites, unless I get a good offer, since Ralph hasn't been out in awhile ;-)
10/19/2004 Winter is officially here! Just had our first big rainstorm of the Winter, and I never got my annual Fall ride/vacation in :-(
Now that taxes are done, I finally installed my DVD burner and HD cooling units on both drives and now just need to figure out how to convert my numerous boxes of old porn into more space-efficient DVD's! Sure beats going out into the cold & rain looking for "it!"
10/16/2004 Grey nasty day here, and I'm having a hell of a time getting motivated! Just finished my 2003 taxes; tomorrow I'm installing a new DVD burner and hard drive cooling system, maybe I'll load some pix from Folsom & Dore Street fairs afterwards, especially if it rains and I can't go to the Eagle for Beer Bust!
If you like funny, yet poignant films about gays, check out "Sordid Lives!" Just finished watching it this week and am letting my friends and family borrow it before returning it to NetFlix. . .
10/2005/2004 Looks like our "summer" is over! Temp now at 19:00 is 54˚ and we only saw a few hours of sunshine today.
Leather Week was fun, hopefully all the tourists had a good time as well.
I still have two 2003 tax returns to do (including my own) by 10/15, after that I'll get busy posting the Folsom Street Fair and Dore Alley pix I took this year, as well as some of my motorcycle trips the last couple years, so bear with me.
9/21/2004 Took Dad home yesterday, hoping to get my life back in order soon. Folsom Weekend is next, I promise to get lots of pix for y'all. If you're in town, on a laptop and want to see the "best of" list, check out: http://www.sfleathercalendar.org/Sep04Cal.html Not on the leather Calendar, but important for all us uniform enthusiasts: The Boots & Breeches "Roll Call" on Friday. Although ticket sales ceased 09/20 due to caterer's requirements, you could contact the B&B and beg for mercy: http://www.bbcorps.org/ If not, go next year! The Leather Daddies Art Auction is later Friday eve. Don't miss the Mr. SF Leather Contest Saturday afternoon: http://mrsfleather.com/ and of course Folsom Street Fair on Sunday! If you see me out and about, say hello!
9/16/2004 Dad's still in ICU, so you won't see much of me.
09/12/2004 I've not been able to spend much time on the new web cam, as my Dad has been in ICU for the past week, and I'm spending most of my spare time vesting him there. One of these days I'll perform for y'all. . .
09/04/2004 I just added a web cam page, just in case some of you are bored enough to watch me at my computer (see tabs left)
Hope y'all having a great Labor Day Weekend! I prefer to work on holiday weekends, then take other weekends off for motorcycling when the roads are congested w/ holiday travelers!
Looks like OUR summer has begun, it's now 85 degrees in the city, and I'm sitting at my desk naked doing this update!
Still haven't updated my site with pix of all the street fairs and long rides I've taken, just haven't had the time! I've recently been learning how to use ThumbsPlus batch processing, tho, so it won't be too much longer! Just now, I'm recovering from a hard disk crash caused by Microsoft's Service Pack 2. Didn't lose any data, but am still installing software and tweaking settings. I'm also tied up (not in the good way) now with preparations for Folsom Fair and the Mr. SF Leather website.
I've been enjoying having my apartment all to myself again, having finally got my Dad and his lover into their own apartment after 7 months of them taking over my living room! Hope to paint and finish decorating soon so I can get my life back to normal.
Another reason this site is so outdated is that whatever spare time I get, I prefer to spend riding with friends, experiencing the incredible natural beauty that can be found so close to San Francisco! Our group is actually open to other gay bikers and is called the "Ad Hoc Motorcycle group" because we never plan rides in advance of sunny weather forecasts. If you wish to be included, e-mail me at: AdHoc at CaptSF.com (I've been getting so much spam, I can't put e-mail links in any more)
Have a great Labor Day weekend!
